Spring Break-Putting up our wood fence

Well All this week i've been getting up at 8:35a.m to work and we finish each day like at 5:30p.m. Mon-Tue i've been picking up branches and piling them somewhere

Tue-Wed we've been making holes and putting big sticks in them to hold up the fence. After that we put cement in it so it would dry and hold in place. We put wood on the bottom of it so it will hold the pieces of wood we would put to make the fence.

Wed. I get up early to take wood to my dad and he nails then to the wood. I give my dad all the material he needs to make our fence perfect. We not quiet done yet so tomorrow we might be!!We only get one side done so tomorrow we have 2 1/2 to go.

Thurs. We had a little problem... My dad's friend went on vacation and left us his dog(Wednesday night) . She didn't know us well so she slept missing her family. This morning my mom told me to take her out to play. As soon as I open the door she ran out !! I chased her with my bike and she kept running finally she stopped at the middle of the road. My dad was just coming back from the store and he stopped and tried to grab her. She went the other way towards me. She saw me and ran the other way again,my dad couldn't catch her and she went away. We got in the car and searched for almost 30 min and couldn't find her. We went back to the house and my dad told his friend what happened. His friend said to keep trying. My mom and I tried one more time we searched and searched until I turned my head and saw her at a door of a place full of machines. I told my mom,"there she is!!!" She hit the brakes, I got out of the car and tried to grab her but she ran inside. I chased after her but couldn't catch her. My mom called my dad and when he finally showed up we tried to get her but she kept running. After looking and looking my dad finally found her under a truck. He grabbed her and we took her back. When we got to the house my cousins were there. I was excited because I wasn't going to do the work by myself. We did the usual and after hours of working we finally finished!!!

And that's what I did Mon-Thurs and I hope there is no more work to do!!!

  1. Well, that’s what you call, making the most out of your spring break. :) Good job! A wooden fence is one of the most affordable fences around. It is also customizable with its ability to be painted or stained, and, if properly maintained, it could last for a long time.

  2. Seems like a lot of work! It must have been difficult working all day under the sweltering heat, but you pulled through. From what I see in the pictures, I’m estimating the height of the fence is probably around 6 feet, give or take a few inches. Regardless, I think that should be enough to give you some privacy. What are you planning to do with the space? Put up a garden? Set up a barbecue grill and some tables? Well, whatever it is, I sure hope you’d post updates about it! Christian Renwick

  3. Christian's got a point. Fence can give you a sort of privacy in your backyard. And because of its towering height, I think it would be hard for the burglars to pass through.

  4. Then fences in Melbourne are a good option. However when you opt for them you need to not only make sure that you get the best people to do the job for you, but also the fencing will be installed on your property only, or it might lead to trouble. dog fence
